Exhibition touring schedule

4 versions of the exhibition are currently on tour around the world.

Each new staging of the exhibition is accompanied by additional scientific and cultural events, local projects and works by artists from the host country.

NEXT STAGE OF A TOUR OF
LATIN AMERICAN CITIES, RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL
In Spanish and Brazilian version

From April 22 to June 14 at the Centro Cultural da Justiza Federal.

A program of events, notably featuring photography exhibitions, graphic design, videos, temporary public art, games, texts, public debates and a scientific forum, all picking up the themes of the exhibition.

“A rua é nossa…é de todos nos !” is being staged under the aegises of”,
France Year in Brazil (April 21-November 15, 2009) is organized:
In France: by the French Department of Curators, the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, the Ministry of Culture and Communication and Culturesfrance.
In Brazil: by Brazil’s Chief Curators, the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of External Relations.

After a first stop at the Palace of Ice in Buenos Aires from July 3 to August 24, where it received almost 30,000 visitors, then in Rosario from September 23 to October 8 at the Banco Nacion, then in Bogota, March 4-27, 2009 at the Los Andes Faculty of Architecture, the exhibition continues its tour of Latin America, accompanied each time by a program of linked scientific and cultural events.

There will be a program of events picking up the exhibition themes, notably a photography competition (Download the View the winning photos - Download the poster) and an International Forum (Download the draft program in SpanishDownload the poster) organised by Los Andes University of Architecture and Design

In parallel, the complementary exhibition “Calles del sur” (document 1 - document 2) was shown from September 24 to October 5 at the Casa de la Cultura in Buenos Aires. The exhibition included case examples of streets in Buenos Aires, Santiago de Chile and la Paz, together with photographs and short films by Latin American artists.

Santiago in Chile in June 2009 at the Métro Exhibition Centre, in partnership with the Catholic University of Santiago de Chile, where a scientific colloquium will be held.

Montevideo August 3-20, at the University of the Republic.

Chinese version

Staged in partnership with the journal
Urban China, and presented in China from March 21 to April 6, 2008 at the Zendai MOMA Museum in Shanghai’s new Pudong district, and from May 25 to June 8, 2008, at the Museum of Contemporary Art at the Gehua Creative Industry Centre in Beijing, the Chinese version includes in addition more than 40 works by Chinese artists. These works, by architects, designers, painters, videomakers and performance, establish a “dialogue” with the exhibition themes: architecture and urban design, governance and media, along with the additional environmental topic of “green streets”.

After Toronto, from June 12 to October 2, 2008 at the University of Toronto’s “Eric Arthur Gallery”, the exhibition is showing at the University of Quebec’s Design Centre Centre from October 23 to December 14, 2008.

COMING SOON, THE TOUR PROGRAM OF THE EUROPEAN VERSION.

After its first showing in Paris at the Ecole nationale supérieure d’architecture de Paris-Val de Seine in the heart of the new Masséna district, the exhibition continues its tour of Europe.
